Assigment – Peace poster
I had many inspirations but the most important was when I was watching the news and they were talking about harassment between girls is increasing. That got me thinking why it is like that and I decided to use this opportunity to speak out against it. I chose this message because I think it gets the reader thinking about what is going on around the world. It also makes them think about the struggles that teenagers go through now a days. This message it important because it lets other harassed girls know that they are not alone and they can seek out help some how. It’s just the matter of their will power and their efforts towards it. I came up with my design by thinking deeply. When a person is harassed they just have to get themselves together and speak out or do something against it. That is what I am trying to represent by the different squares in the posters.

Magzine Cover:
1) What qualities of your magazine cover make it effective?
I think my magazine’s cover is effective because the smooth lines in the background help direct the viewer’s eyes towards certain areas. My topic was about cars and the title clearly states and reflects on the main topic therefore making the magazine cover very easy to understand. It’s also very nice to look at. The smooth lines in the background and the shine on the cars bring out the details which make it realistic and take away the “Photoshop” look.
2) What was the order of hierarchy you were trying to achieve for the elements on your magazine cover?
The order of hierarchy that I tried to accomplish is:
1) Car title
2) Cars at the bottom
3) Super Ferrari
4) Free Poster
